Parking at UMass Boston

When we went to press in early August, parking was available on campus at:

• North Lot (Campus Center)
• South Lot (Wheatley Building)
• 120 Lot (Clark Athletic Center)
• 150 Lot (Service Building Lot)
• Campus Center garage (accessible via North Lot)
• Pump House Lot (located across from the 120 Lot)

By the opening of the fall semester, additional parking on campus will be available.
Please consult www.umb.edu weekly for updates on all parking options.

The fee for parking is $6.00 per day.

Once campus lots are filled to capacity, you will be directed to satellite parking located on Mt. Vernon Street (Mt. Vernon Street is located adjacent to the Harbor Point Apartments complex). Satellite lot fees are $6.00 per day. Valid parking passes will also be accepted. The university will run shuttle buses frequently between satellite lots and the Campus Center. The university is working with neighborhood groups, local officials, and vendors to develop additional parking options.

UMass Boston staff will be present throughout University Drive to answer your questions and assist you with parking instructions. Please observe the speed limit of 25 miles per hour and exercise caution. If you are driving to campus, please give yourself extra time should you need to shuttle from satellite parking.

We understand these changes to parking on campus may be inconvenient and we are
aggressively undertaking a program to ensure that people who need assistance will receive courteous and prompt help.
