The University

Happy holidays, and a joyful 2012

With final exams wrapping up this week, the University of Massachusetts Boston community has concluded another successful semester. I hope your first half of the 2011-2012 academic year was as engaging, productive, and enjoyable as mine was. I thank each and every one of you for your assistance in keeping this semester going smoothly, and for your continued commitment to the university.

When we see each other again in 2012, the steel frame of the Integrated Sciences Complex will be taking shape as we continue to ready the campus for more students, more classes, more programs, and more changes. I hope you can use the holiday break as an opportunity for renewal and preparation for more exciting times at the University of Massachusetts Boston.

I also hope that you and your loved ones have a safe and happy holiday season, and I wish you the best for a joyous and festive New Year. I look forward to working with you in 2012.
