Dear Donors to the UMass Boston Fund:
I would like to thank you for your generous gift; it is a wonderful contribution to students at my university. I base this statement on experience because of what the scholarship means to me. During my first year at the University of Massachusetts, Boston I fell in love with the sciences.
This scholarship will help me further my knowledge and allow me to delve deeper within the realms of microbial entities and chemical compositions because it allows me to dedicate more time to studying instead of working. Also, I can spend some of the money I earn on supplementary texts and materials to pursue my academic interests. For this opportunity alone, I am immensely grateful.
Such as award is very encouraging and I am immensely thankful to the donors who provide the means for such a scholarship to exist.
