By participating in Talent for Tomorrow: An Urban Scholars and Motley Scholarship Celebration you support the Urban Scholars Program. Since 1983 this program has influenced the lives of 1,500 young people by making the dream of a college education possible.
Your support keeps society’s doors open for a new and diverse generation of leaders who will respond with vigor and imagination to the challenges of our times.
Specifically, proceeds from Talent for Tomorrow will enable Urban Scholars to reach exciting new goals over the next two years:
- increase by 25% the number of students enrolled in the program;
- launch an alumni program which mentors current students, provides guidance, enlists support, and extends Urban Scholars influence in the professional community; and
- create new opportunities and inspire best practices as a national model for college access programs.
