When Sherryann completed the UMass Boston nursing program, she ended a long journey she started in 1986 as one of the first Urban Scholars middle school students. Forced by personal issues to leave college in the early 1990’s, this mother of three credits the program with giving her the determination and support system to overcome significant challenges and return to earn her degree. She looks forward to a rewarding and productive healthcare career.
