Our Supporters
Every gift to UMass Boston counts. $25, $2,500, $25,000 or
$2.5 million all matter and help to extend the spectrum of support that allows UMass Boston to achieve its long term goals.
The generosity of alumni, friends, students and their families, as well as corporations and foundations, enables UMass Boston to fulfill its teaching, research and public service mission. Its work is vital both for its students, 59% of whom are first generation college students, and for the economic development of the Boston, the Commonwealth and beyond.
There are many ways your investment can richly impact the research and teaching mission of our university. Whether you support the UMass Boston Fund, which provides unrestricted and other vital support for ongoing operations, establish a new endowment fund to support faculty and/or financial aid for students, or direct your philanthropy to one of the university’s seven colleges or over 30 research centers and institutes, your giving has profound influence. We look forward to welcoming you into one of the following societies so that you can celebrate with others who recognize the value of investing in the University of Massachusetts Boston.

Our alumni participation was nearly 8% and we are striving to reach 10% by 2010. These percentages forge a strong future for the university. Every gift, no matter what size, matters.
