Fourth Annual Fishing Safari

Departing from Fox Point Dock at UMass Boston on May 10, 2008 at 0600 sharp!

Join friends and co-workers for a full day of fishing and the site seeing fun in Mass Bay's cleaner waters. We will be fishing for Cod, Mackerel and with a little luck Haddock. Boat prizes awarded.

Bait included and some fishing equipment available. You are encouraged to bring your own equipment, lunch, and Dramamine.

Charter Fee: $30/person maximum of 40 passengers.

Payment required to reserve your seat, first come/first serve. Cancellations less than 10 days before the charter will not be refunded. If trip is cancelled due to inclement weather charter fee will be fully refunded.

Fun Race Series

Join the Sailing Program on Tuesdays and Thursdays for our Frun Race Series from 4.00 - 7.00pm September 1st - October 31st. For more information, call 617-287-7833

Monday Harbor Cruises from 12:00 - 1:15 pm

Every Tuesday from June through September, come and learn about the sites and sounds of the Boston Harbor Islands on board the M/V Hurricane while getting to know your fellow students and/or co-workers.

Trips are free with a current and valid UMass ID and $5.00 without ID. Boat departs from Fox-Point dock.

Little Brewster Trips

Beginning in June through the month of October , take a 3 1/2 adventure through the Boston Harbor Islands to Little Brewster Island , home to Boston Light, the oldest lighthouse site in the country. Climb the 76 spiraling steps of Boston Light Tower for spectacular views of Boston Harbor .

Trips depart from the UMass Boston Campus Center on Thursdays and Fridays and from Fan Pier (at Federal Courthouse) on Saturdays and Sundays.
