A fleet of Cape Cod Mercurys are available to learning and seasoned sailors from UMass Boston and neighboring communities to sail in the harbor. Sailing instructions and other sailing resources are provided free of charge to members of the University Community with a current and valid UMass Boston ID. Non-University members can purchase a Community Membership Card to utilize the Sailing Program's resources by calling the Athletics Department at 617-287-7803. Location
The Sailing Program operates from the Fox Point Dock
(between McCormack and Wheatley buildings facing the water).

Season: April-October Hours of Operation: Monday-Saturday 11am-7pm Summer Youth Sailing Program
DMO in association with Courageous Sailing Center (CSC), is proud to bring the Summer Youth Sailing Program to Dorchester. CSC is a non-profit multi-faceted educational and recreational facility that teaches kids how to sail on the Boston Harbor. From July 19 – August 13, 2004, CSC will offer lessons to the community on their fleet of Rhodes 19s and J22s from the Fox Point Dock.
