Life on Campus
The College of Education and Human Development’s family therapy program offers students at the University of Massachusetts Boston an optimal perspective for supporting individuals, families, and communities in urban environments.
Shaun Glaze (’12, CEHD) spends her life on campus supporting faculty members and the greater Boston community through her involvement in various research projects. She supports her fellow graduate students as treasurer of the Graduate Student Assembly and as founder of a mentoring program for first-year students in the family therapy program.
“I see mentoring as being a key piece of the way we develop ourselves, both socially and professionally. It’s really great to have role models who can guide you through something as intense as a graduate career,” Glaze says.
