Project Risk Management
This is a self-paced, online course that covers the following 6 steps of project risk management, as prescribed by the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK®):
- Risk management planning
- Risk identification
- Qualitative risk analysis
- Quantitative risk analysis
- Risk response planning
- Risk control
The course consists of three modules. It is recommended that you complete the modules in the following order:
- Inputs to Project Risk Management
- Risk Management Planning and Risk Identification
- Risk Response Planning and Implementation
Each module contains a video lecture, associated reading materials, and a test to check your knowledge. The course materials will be available during the entire course and you may review and complete the tests at any time, at your own pace by the course end date. It may take about 2-3 weeks or longer to review the materials and complete the tests, depending on your schedule.

Project Risk Management is a pass/fail, non-credit course, and does not award letter grades. When you successfully complete this course, you will receive 2 Continuing Education Units (CEUs) and a digital badge. After reviewing the materials in each learning module, you must complete the associated test with a score of 80% or higher. If you achieve a score of 80% or higher on each test, you will earn a badge for the entire course after successfully completing all three modules.
After you successfully earn your badge, you can add this badge to a Mozilla® Backpack to share your accomplishments on social media platforms.
