Intensive Review for MTEL47 Middle School Math (online)

This self-paced course is designed to prepare students to succeed on the Massachusetts Tests for Educator Licensure (MTEL) Middle School Math 47 exam. The course covers all the essential topics to develop a deep understanding of math fundamentals including functions, algebra, geometry, statistics, probability, word problems, graphing, solving equations, trigonometry, calculus, and discrete math.

Each of the eight course modules includes a lesson, quizzes, and practice problems with detailed explanations. Several tools are provided to help students get the most out of their learning, including a glossary, additional practice problems, and diagnostic reports to help identify strengths and weaknesses. A full-length practice exam ensures that students approach the actual MTEL with confidence. Students can email the instructor throughout the duration of the course for further assistance in understanding the material.

At the end of this course, a student will possess both fundamental computation skills and a comprehensive, in-depth understanding of how to teach mathematics. The student will be confident in their ability to pass the Middle School Math 47 exam.
