Capstone Experience

The capstone for Mental Health Counseling is a clinical case analysis that includes a taped and transcribed counseling session and a detailed analysis of the contextual, developmental, ethical, psychosocial, treatment, and counter-transference issues as they apply to the case. Students are required to complete the capstone experience before graduation and it is generally completed during the internship. The case analysis project is submitted for review to the mental health counseling faculty committee.
