GENERAL CURRICULUM MULTI SUBJECT WORKSHOP

This workshop is designed to prepare students to succeed on the Massachusetts Tests for Educator Licensure (MTEL) General Curriculum Multi-Subject exam. During the workshop, students will be exposed to the most commonly used English Language Arts, Science and Technology and Historical terminology given on the exam. Students will review proper MTEL test-taking strategies, review the scoring rubric for the written response portion and will be able to try actual test questions with instant answer analysis. Due to the fact that this exam covers a wide variety of subject areas and grade level content, students will be given the opportunity to create their own guided study index cards after they are able to watch over 40 short and informational videos as a whole group.

GENERAL CURRICULUM MATH MTEL PREPARATION WORKSHOP

The workshop is a comprehensive, intensive workshop to prepare students for the General Curriculum Math Subtest MTEL. We'll review the math in each category - starting with the concepts and ideas. Once students understand what it is, we'll then work on developing ways to do it quickly and correctly. We'll then look at how the questions appear on the test - we'll use basic testing strategies and what we covered to quickly and easily solve the problems.
