Additional Information

I have developed a novel reading of Kant’s Transcendental Deduction of the Categories in the Critique of Pure Reason. My approach involves a very close textual analysis together with insights from contemporary Philosophy of Mind and cognitive psychology. I argue that the conceptual inter-relations between the necessary unity of consciousness, the concept of an object of representation and transcendental apperception are the key to understanding the Deduction. (This is a book/MS in the late stages of completion.)
