Jack Falvey is one of the most widely published freelance business writers in the world. In addition to his Dow Jones and Barron’s Features, his work has appeared in Newsweek, The Reader’s Digest, Inc. Magazine, Sales and Marketing Magazine and Vogue. He has authored 12 books. He has appeared on NBC’s The TODAY Show, ABC’s Good Morning America, and FOX-TV NEWS. He has written for The Boston Globe and The Union Leader and New Hampshire Sunday News.
Falvey is a 1960 graduate of Boston College and he has been a member of the adjunct faculty at the University of Massachusetts in Boston since 1981. He recently returned to his alma mater and now teaches sales and sales management on both campuses. (UMass Boston in the spring semester and Boston College in the fall semester.) He is also a Fellow of the Institute for Politics at Saint Anselm College Manchester New Hampshire where he offers a modified MOOC entitled: “Making your number: by making fewer silly mistakes.”
In 2000 he founded MakingTheNumbers.Com, an internet e-learning company providing daily sales and sales management professional development via email to readers across five continents.
