The Department of Exercise and Health Sciences offers two programs of graduate study leading to the Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) and Master of Science (MS) degree, respectively. Our faculty are nationally recognized for their cutting-edge research in the following areas.
- public health
- obesity prevention and treatment
- physical activity in those with disabilities
- behavioral interventions in historically underserved populations
Given the impact of sedentary lifestyles and poor dietary choices, it is no longer enough to simply stay ahead of the curve – our goal is to define the curve!
