Additional Information

Dr. Lee has studied health disparities in minority populations, particularly immigrant populations. She has conducted community-based participatory studies to develop baseline data on HBV infection and liver cancer prevention. Her studies have improved racial and ethnic data and developed national health policies to address health disparities in HBV infection and liver cancer among Asian American Pacific Islanders. She has served as a regional director of the National Task Force on HBV infection, focusing on Asian Americans & Pacific Islanders for the CDC. Dr. Lee received an R21 grant from the National Cancer Institute to develop and test an instrument to measure health behaviors related to HPV and HBV infection among Cambodian Americans in Massachusetts.
