Additional Information

JoAnn Mulready-Shick’s research has focused on clinical education innovation evaluation for Dedicated Education Units (DEUs), academic-practice partnerships, and quality and safety (QSEN) competency integration. Additionally, she conducts research in academic success for students developing English language proficiency and nurse educator development. She serves as a national consultant for curricular integration of QSEN competencies. Mulready-Shick’s scholarship has included working with interpretive phenomenology and critical hermeneutic methodologies. She served on a national task force on Diversity in the Nurse Educator Workforce and currently holds leadership positions in nursing education organizations at the national and state levels.
