Additional Information

Dr. Winfrey is the co-project director and undergraduate student advisor of the Clinical Leadership Collaborative for Diversity in Nursing (CLCDN), an academic service partnership with Partners HealthCare. The project is designed to achieve the vision of diversity by providing clinical leadership development opportunities to ethnically diverse, socio-economically disadvantaged nursing students. Initially, the project was available to undergraduate nursing students in the traditional option; the CLCDN expanded its original format to include an advanced workforce diversity component for graduate. Dr. Winfrey is also PI for the Boston LEAD (Leaders in Eliminating Academic Disparity) grant, a HRSA sponsored initiative designed to recruit diverse Master’s degree students. The Boston LEAD grant incorporates many aspects of the CLCDN such as mentoring, tuition support and professional development.
