Master of Art Thesis

Description:
A substantial project of approximately 60 pages in literature, composition, or creative writing. Creative writing students will include a related analytical paper with their manuscript. A thesis proposal is required and must be approved by the student's faculty supervisor of the thesis and by the Graduate Program Director. In the case of creative writing theses, approval by the Director of Creative Writing is also required. The student works under the supervision of a faculty thesis director in regular tutorial conferences. Students should begin working on their project a full semester before the semester in which the project is due.
