Exploring Early Literacy Mentoring

Description:
Explore the various dimensions of the mentoring role with a focus on enhancing critical early literacy knowledge, skills and understandings for teachers of young children. Gain an understanding of adult development, stages of teacher development, and establishing mentoring relationships. Practice a number of mentoring roles, and conversations with proteges within the context of current early literacy research. Learn how to connect the observations with the Massachusetts Preschool Curriculum Frameworks.
