An alumna of our sister program in Public Policy, Ms. Tatjana Meschede is an adjunct faculty member in the Public Affairs Program and a Research Director and Scientist at the Institute on Assets and Social Policy (IASP), Heller School of Social Policy and Management, Brandeis University. At IASP, she manages the project on Family Financial Well-Being in the 21st Century: Strategic Positioning of Data Tools for Public Impact, including the development of indices on economic security for seniors and the middle class, as well as asset security. In addition, she leads evaluation projects on housing programs for homeless individuals and families. Professor Meschede publishes and speaks frequently on economic security challenges for seniors and the middle class and has published widely on these issues as well as homeless studies.

Professor Meschede currently teaches the MSPA weekend seminar on Social Policy and Homelessness and has also taught the Capstone Seminar and Analytical Skills I and II.
