Public Affairs, MS  

This nationally-ranked on-campus 21-month professional program prepares students for careers in public service and management. Graduates will contribute to society as managers, public administrators, policy analysts, and program evaluators in the governmental and nonprofit sectors to advance an efficient and effective public sector. We train MSPA graduates to serve the public good and promote the public value, social justice, and equity in local, regional, and national communities. Each cohort of 25 students engages in evening classes and occasional weekend seminars over the course of 21 months and develops a strong network of professional contacts.

Public Policy, PhD  

This interdisciplinary program prepares students for academic faculty and public policy positions in the public and nonprofit sector. We provide solid grounding in economics, sociology, and political science to analyze public policy issues with particular emphasis on issues of inequality and social justice. Both full and part time options are available. Students typically complete their coursework and dissertation in five to seven years. Generous assistantship packages are available on a competitive basis for fulltime students.
