Field Trips

ALERTA children on field trip

Students have the opportunity to go on educational field trips in each of our ALERTA components. These field trips allow students to explore more in depth the theme they are learning about in their ALERTA class.

For the after-school component, students will go on one to two  theme-related field trips. For example, if their theme for the year is Inventions, they might go to the MIT museum where they will have an opportunity to see some of the most fascinating inventions ever made.

For our April and Summer programs, students will have two to three theme-related field trips.

Johanna Sanchez, ALERTA student:

“We do projects and we go on field trips and because we do lots of fun stuff. I also like it because we get to perform on the stage with our friends.”

Your generosity matters!

We invite you to support our field trips through a gift to ALERTA. Read More
