Arriving & Parking
On weekdays between 8:00AM and 6:00PM, parking is primarily dedicated to students, faculty, and staff. Clients and guests attending conferences or events on weekdays may not find parking immediately adjacent to the Campus Center. However, parking will be available in one of the many lots on campus within a short walk to the building. Parking immediately adjacent to the Campus Center should be readily available on weekends and evenings.
The parking fee is $6.00 per vehicle. The fees cannot be waived, and free-parking is not provided any day of the week. Parking spaces cannot be blocked, reserved or roped-off to accommodate special guests. Parking vouchers, for distribution to guests, can be pre-purchased at an additional fee from the Campus Center.
Directions to the Campus Center
- Public Transportation
Take the Red Line to JFK/UMass Station. A free shuttle bus will carry you to the campus.
Take the commuter rail to the JFK/UMass station from the South Shore on the Middleboro and Plymouth lines.
Kenmore Square stop (service all day): Take the Number (8) bus; the last one leaves campus at 1:00 a.m.
Forest Hills stop (rush hour only):Take the Number (16) bus.
- Traveling via Car
From the North:
Take Interstate 93 South through Boston to exit 15 (JFK Library/South Boston/Dorchester) and follow the University of Massachusetts signs along Columbia Road and Morrissey Boulevard to the campus.
From the South:
Take Interstate 93 North to exit 14 (JFK Library/Morrissey Boulevard) and follow Morrissey Boulevard north to the campus.
From the West:
Take the Massachusetts Turnpike (Interstate 90) east to Interstate 93. Take I-93 South one mile to exit 15 (JFK Library/South Boston/Dorchester) and follow the University of Massachusetts signs along Columbia Road and Morrissey Boulevard to the campus.
The Campus Center is a fully accessible facility. Directly beneath the Campus Center, in the lower level parking garage, are 20+ handicapped parking spaces which provide immediate access to main elevators. The “T” also drops guests at the Campus Center entrance via “The Ride”.
