Culture and Mental Health

Course #: PSYCLN 610

Description:
This course focuses on three issues: 1) the role of culture in the development of psychological health and psychopathology; 2) variations across cultures in defining and understanding mental health and deviant behavior; and 3) the importance of cultural context in constructing ways to prevent and/or ameliorate psychological problems.
