Carol Darcy

Carol Darcy received an EdD in education leadership and curriculum theory from Boston University, a professional diploma in supervision and administration from Bank Street College of Education, a MS in early childhood education from Wheelock College and a BS in elementary education from Boston State Teachers College.  She is a consultant to public and private schools (Pre-K through middle school).

Currently, Darcy serves as the liaison for the World Organization for Early Childhood Education (OMEP) at the United Nations and served as vice president for the OMEP-US National Committee, 2003-2009. She is serving as at-large board member with the Cape Cod Association for the Education of Young Children (CCAEYC).

Darcy began her career as a kindergarten teacher. She has taught at the undergraduate and graduate level, supervised pre-service teachers, held administrative positions, coordinated several research projects, and designed professional development and continuing education courses for early childhood teachers and their supervisors.
