Miss von Vogler has over eleven years of policy analysis and outreach experience. As a member of State Treasurer Tim Cahill's 2005 Job Growth Task Force, she helped produced several initiatives to spur job creation in the commonwealth. As the policy analyst/project manager for the Gastón Institute, she oversaw the 2009 Regional Meetings "Listening Tour" that convened leaders throughout the state to address the state of Hispanics/Latinos in Massachusetts and assisted in the strategic reorganization of the institute.

She has authored and co-authored several reports, including seven Regional Reports for the Gastón Institute in 2009 and the Massachusetts State Treasurer's Job Grow Task Force Report 2005.

In 2003, Miss von Vogler researched and authored the 2004 Unbanked Latino for State Senator Jarrett Barrios, which spurred several initiatives to address this untapped market.

Her work with the Massachusetts State Treasurer's Job Grow Task Force secured $450 million initiative for job creation and affordable housing initiatives, including a $25 million public-private partnership to revitalize urban communities.

Currently, she is charged with creating the infrastructure and managing the communications branch for the Center for Social Policy at the University of Massachusetts Boston. Michelle von Vogler is a member of the Emerge Massachusetts Class of 2011 and has a B.A. in International Relations and Political Science from the University of Massachusetts Boston 2001.
