  • In 2011, the Center for Women in Politics and Public Policy received the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award from the National Council for Research for Women. Former Director Carol Hardy-Fanta accepted the award at the NCRW Annual Meeting in New York City.
  • In April 2008, the center and its graduate certificate program received the 2008 “Progress in Equity Award” from the American Association of University Women – Massachusetts.
  • On October 21, 2005, the graduate certificate program received the “Innovative and Creative Programming Award” from the University Continuing Education Association of New England.
  • The program received an Honorable Mention award for “Progress in Equity” from the American Association of University Women at its “Speaking out for Justice Award Dinner” on June 26, 2005.
  • On October 20, 2004, Center Director Carol Hardy-Fanta received a 2005 Leading Women Award from the Girl Scouts Council of Eastern Massachusetts.
