Located in the Counseling Center Group Room (Quinn Administration Building, Floor 2).

Discover how to find tranquility in your busy life with KORU Mindfulness, a program designed exclusively for registered UMass Boston students. University Health Services invites you to attend our in-person drop-in sessions, held in the Counseling Center Group Room on the second floor of the Quinn Administration Building. You'll learn mindfulness techniques to help navigate the unique challenges of college life. Each session offers practical, stress-relieving exercises, such as walking meditations and mindful verses, that are scientifically proven to build resilience and promote a more centered state of mind. Whether you're new to mindfulness or have some experience, you're welcome to join us online to learn how to integrate these practices into your daily routine.

  • Messages to Our Heroes (Beacon Wellness)

Join UHS at the Veteran's Center in honoring and supporting our campus veterans. Visit our “A Message to Our Heroes” table to share your appreciation through handwritten notes on our Support Wall or leave an audio message using our Wind Phone. This space allows Beacons to send words of thanks, reflection, and encouragement carried on the breeze. This event offers an opportunity for the UMass Boston community to come together, express gratitude, and recognize the courage and dedication of those who have served. Stop by, share your voice, and help us create a collective tribute of support and appreciation in honor of Veteran's Day.
