    In honor of World Kindness Day, take a mindful moment to create and share kindness. Paint a rock with words of hope, compassion, or encouragement, then gift it to someone special or leave it somewhere on campus to brighten a stranger’s day. Every small act of kindness can ripple through our community and remind us that we all matter.

    Discover how to find tranquility in your busy life with KORU Mindfulness, a program designed exclusively for registered UMass Boston students. University Health Services invites you to attend our in-person drop-in sessions, held in the Counseling Center Group Room on the second floor of the Quinn Administration Building. You'll learn mindfulness techniques to help navigate the unique challenges of college life. Each session offers practical, stress-relieving exercises, such as walking meditations and mindful verses, that are scientifically proven to build resilience and promote a more centered state of mind. Whether you're new to mindfulness or have some experience, you're welcome to join us online to learn how to integrate these practices into your daily routine.

  • BASU Peer Support Group

    Behavioral Addictions and Substance Use (BASU) Peer Support Group is designed to provide a supportive environment for individuals who believe they or someone they know may be struggling with behavioral addiction and/or substance use. During our sessions, participants will find a safe space where they can share their concerns and/or experience(s) around addiction. All are welcome!
