Off-Campus Housing acts in an advisory capacity only. Off-Campus Housing will not make reservations, appointments, or rental commitments on behalf of students, nor does Off-Campus Housing participate in any negotiations with landlords. Individuals must, on their own, meet with the landlords, inspect the apartments, and make the lease arrangements. Because of varying costs and the quality of accommodations, personal visits to available rooms/apartments should be made before making final arrangements. We do not endorse and make no representation whatsoever as to the quality, value, safety or service of any landlord, vendor or business who may be mentioned in the resources available on this site. The University of Massachusetts Boston expressly disclaims any and all responsibility for any problems that may arise with regard to rental units and with regard to disputes between landlords and student tenants concerning properties or rental units. All prospective student tenants are encouraged to exercise their own good judgment when evaluating prospective rental units and landlords.
