The UMass Boston IT Services Division does not recommend upgrading computers to Mac OS X 10.11 ("El Capitan") at this time. We are reviewing this new upgrade and have not yet tested it against all required systems and services.
In addition, Mac users should be aware that our current VPN offering does not work with Mac OS X 10.10 ("Yosemite"). We will be upgrading our VPN to fix this, but we do not have a date for the upgrade yet.
