Digital Learning Studio


  • The Digital Learning Studio is now home to the IT Instructional Design and Desktop teams

The Digital Learning Studio (DLS) is home to the instructional and desktop teams. The DLS is conveniently located on the third floor of the Healey Library next to the IT Service Desk and the Bloomberg Room. Several consultants including instructional designers, media production specialists, and graduate students are available in the DLS to assist faculty and staff with multimedia projects,web 2.0 tools, applications, and  online, blended and web-enhanced  courses. The goal of the DLS is to enhance classroom and online teaching and to promote the university mission of quality and accessible education through best practices. The desktop group has their offices in the DLS where their several consultants are available to faculty and staff to assist with computer desktop, laptop, and mobile devices.

  • All clients are expected to follow the University Responsible / Acceptable Use of Computer & Data Resources (PDF)
  • We are not responsible for files saved to our computers. Please back up your projects regularly.
  • The DLS does not provide CDs or DVDs, but they may be purchased on campus from the bookstore.
  • No cell phone use; please turn your cell phones to silent and make all calls outside the DLS in the lobby.
  • No food or drinks are allowed in the lab.
