Service Desk

Description

Tier 1, first-level contact and problem resolution for all UMass Boston community members (faculty, staff, and students) with hardware, software, and UMB systems via walk-in, email, and phone inquiries. Escalate issues to second tier support through internal ticket system as needed.

Answer questions and resolve problems concerning: connectivity to the campus network, use of Information Technology Services Division (ITSD) host computers, the Internet, use of personal computers, software applications, and operating systems.
