BEACONS Project (Education to Career Transition)

An element of the VET-NET, BEACONS is a student-veteran success program that includes a strong emphasis on aligning academic plans with career aspirations; building resumes and cover letters; conducting interview preps; and making connections to other veterans in a post-service and post-education environment. Having an interpersonal or professional connection with a veteran, experienced and successful in a career field our students are studying or pursuing will make a long-lasting impact during and after academia.
