The Consortium for Graduate Studies in Gender, Culture, Women, and Sexuality

This program offers interdisciplinary, team-taught seminars to students who are enrolled in graduate programs at member institutions, of which UMass Boston is one. There is no fee for GCWS courses. Students are granted credit for participation by their home institutions and are admitted by application. Visit their website for more information.

The Consortium on Gender, Security and Human Rights

Since its establishment in 2002, the Consortium on Gender, Security and Human Rights has been increasing awareness and shaping the agenda in gender and security research. The organization is devoted to building knowledge through lectures, discussions, workshops and conferences, and to bridging the gap between research and practice through creative collaborations among scholars, policy-makers and practitioners.
