Internships

 

Summer Internship opportunities:

  • Summer 2023 welcomes interns. 
  • A range of paid and unpaid internships exist, for credit internships are not paid.
  • During the academic year, various students on island can work in the field station lab conducting independent study or community service projects.

 

University internships, workstudy assistants or undergraduate research assistantships are available during the year as well as in the summer.

UMass Boston students can apply for the PACE apprenticeship program.

The Field Station does accept volunteers and appreciates their talents and generous gifts of time.

 

NSF volunteers help with:

     cleaning and stocking the lab

     teaching docents/nature walk leaders

     research project assistance

     cleaning trails

     conducting water quality testing

     field and lab work

 

While NSF would like to make use of all interested volunteers, these positions are competitive. If you are interested please apply.
