Attend a Campus Construction Brown Bag Briefing April 26

Want to learn how you can prepare for campus changes coming this summer and fall? Join the Construction Impact Awareness and Advisory Committee for a brown bag briefing Wednesday, April 26, at noon in the Campus Center, Ballroom A.

As part of Spring Enrichment and Engagement Days (SEEDS), the construction briefing will feature presentations on new roadway openings and closings, construction progress on the parking garage and residence hall, and the renovations taking place in McCormack and Wheatley halls. Bring your lunch and your questions.

You will learn about three major projects: pile driving for the new parking garage, the rising of a steel frame for the residence hall, and an upcoming gas line installation near the entrance to Mt. Vernon Street.

If you can’t make it to the briefing, but you have construction, transportation, or safety questions, stop by the Emergency Management and Roadway Safety table on Tuesday, April 25, from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the Campus Center Terrace.

To learn more, contact Holly.Sutherland@umb.edu or call 617.287.5182.
