Michelle Zullo Earned 26th Career Win on Saturday; Charles Lai Now Has 87 Career Wins

It was a big weekend for the Beacons, with two different student athletes setting program records for wins.

Senior pitcher Michelle Zullo of Everett picked up her 26th career win against Rhode Island College on Saturday. She struck out eight and allowed just two runs, both unearned, to lead the team to their first Little East Conference win of the year.

Senior tennis ace Charles Lai of Dorchester won singles and doubles matches on Saturday, giving him 87 career victories and surpassing Quazi Sadruzzaman '04 and Tom Savoie '91 for the program record. Lai already held Beacons records for matches played in a season, doubles matches won in a career, and doubles matches played in a season.

Baseball Coach Eygabroat Picks Up 200th Career Win

Already the all-time winningest coach in Beacons baseball history, Coach Brendan Eygabroat recorded another milestone on Saturday: his 200th career win. It came in the form of a 7-5 win over Eastern Connecticut State University. Eygabroat is in his 11th season as head coach.
