EHS Welcomes New Undergraduate Program Director

A message from Laurie Milliken, Associate Professor and Chair, Department of Exercise and Health Sciences, College of Nursing and Health Sciences:

It is my pleasure to introduce the EHS Program’s new Undergraduate Program Director, Dana Commesso.  Dana first joined EHS as a part-time instructor and then as a full time instructor.  She is currently completing an EdD in Organizational Leadership and Communication from Northeastern University.  She also holds an MS in Exercise Science from the University of Connecticut.  Prior to her academic career, Dana spent 10 years with the United States Olympic Committee in the Sport Performance Division.  Dana will be overseeing a program of 586 undergraduate students who are distributed between three tracks, Health Sciences, Fitness Instruction and Management, and Exercise Science. We look forward to the expertise she will bring to this new position.  Welcome, Dana!
