This fall, the UMass Boston's Performing Arts Department will present a Musical Theatre Cabaret Oct. 14–15 and the play Museum, by Tina Howe, Dec. 3–5 and Dec. 9–11.

The Musical Theatre Cabaret is an evening review of musical theatre standards.

Tina Howe's Museum is an elegant play that manages to capture the subjective nature of both a visual, and a theatre arts experience. It asks us to find the magic that comes in breaking with the ordinary. Just like the pieces that are displayed on stage during the story, the play itself must be experienced with many perspectives in order to appreciate the diverse characters and its message.
