Watch Livestream of Trotter Institute Director’s Take on History & Culture of Harlem and Its Theatre

Barbara Lewis, director of the William Monroe Trotter Institute for the Study of Black Culture, will be speaking at the National Theatre Conference's convening in New York City on Friday, December 4.

Lewis will speak at 2 p.m. at the Harlem Hospital Center’s Herbert Cave Auditorium on "History and Culture of Harlem and its Theatre."

She'll be joined by Khalil Gibran Muhammad, director of the Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture, and playwright William B. Branch.
