New Voices, New Stories Plays Selected

New Voices, New Stories, presented by the UMass Boston Performing Arts Department, announces the selected plays and playwrights for the fall reading series. Staged readings will be held October 5 and 6, 2016.

New Voices, New Stories is a showcase of short plays by UMass Boston students, selected by theatre arts faculty members Ginger Lazarus and Robert Lublin. Each play chosen will be revised with guidance from Lazarus, serving as dramaturg, over the summer, and will be eligible for submission to the Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival.

Auditions for New Voices, New Stories will be held in concert with auditions for Bat Boy: The Musical on September 14 and 15, with callbacks on September 16.
