Nominations Will Be Accepted Through March 4

Nominations are now being accepted for the annual Beacon Leadership Awards, which will be given out on Tuesday, May 3 at 5 p.m. in the Campus Center Ballroom.

Sponsored by the Offices of Student Leadership and Community Engagement and Student Activities and Leadership, the Beacon Leadership Awards provide an opportunity for faculty and staff members to recognize the unique accomplishments and dedication of UMass Boston's exemplary students. Even with many other commitments in addition to their education, UMass Boston students manage to go beyond what is expected or required of them to participate in university activities, clubs, and organizations.

Nominees should have demonstrated an interest, willingness, and commitment to get involved in the university and/or the community. Individuals and student organizations can be nominated.

Read a description for each of the awards, and then submit your nominations by March 4.
