Structural steel for the Integrated Sciences Complex will arrive on Wednesday, December 21 from Novel Iron Works in Greenland, New Hampshire. Four trucks are scheduled to deliver the first of 2,000 tons of steel.
A crane will be assembled the following day, and crews from Stearns in Pembroke will begin to erect the steel on the 16-inch structural slab. The university community will begin to see the new Integrated Sciences Complex start to take shape as steel goes up and metal decks, concrete slabs and fireproofing are installed through the spring.
