College of Management alumna Erica Chapman '03 has been included in the Boston Business Journal's (BBJ) 2017 40 Under 40. The 40 Under 40 list recognizes 40 professionals annually who are making a significant positive impact in their workplaces and communities in Greater Boston.
Chapman worked full-time while attending UMass Boston and New England Law School. She earned a bachelor's in management.
By the time she finished law school, she already had seven to eight years of corporate and business experience behind her and was placed to take on an executive leadership role at a young age. Currently, as vice president of the Global Real Estate + Workplace Productivity team at Akamai, Chapman's charter is to drive a comprehensive, holistic, and differentiated strategy that enables Akamai to deliver on the promise of a hyper-connected world; where entertainment, business, and life are empowered to reach unimagined potential. Chapman's leadership and breadth of responsibilities extend to every aspect of real estate, workplace, administrative services, and security globally.
Chapman will be recognized at an evening reception hosted by the Boston Business Journal later this month.
