It was pretty breathtaking to walk out here and realize I’m going to play a hockey game.

Narrator: This is a UMass Boston Minute.

Harvey: I have been to Fenway Park twice. I sat way up there, so I haven’t been this close before. And it was pretty breathtaking to walk out here and realize I’m going to play a hockey game out here.

Narrator: Cam Harvey and the rest of the UMass Boston men’s Hockey Team will play at Frozen Fenway on January 7th against Salem State.

Harvey: Well, today we’re doing a ceremonial coin toss with Salem State their captains, and their coaches here at Fenway.

Daniel: Travis Daniel, Forward. I think we’re all we’re excited to be here today. But we’re still counting down the days till the game, it’s gonna be exciting.

Motley: So listen, I’m gonna call TAILS. [coin flip, cheering]

Harvey: Chancellor Motley made a really great call. He called tails, and we got tails. So we’re really excited that we get to be the home team.

Grinhaus: Mark Grinhaus, Forward. We have a good sense of team spirit here amongst the athletes. We all try to support each other and the school does a great job of publicizing our games and everything. We’re really happy and we’re looking forward to it.

Narrator: Visit us on the web at umb.edu.
