Campus One of Three Featured on WBZ’s What’s In Store Program
The University of Massachusetts Boston campus is on the move, and last week students and professors got a chance to show television audiences how UMass Boston is succeeding with increasing enrollments, new facilities, and a growing reputation as a research university with a teaching soul. The university was one of three colleges featured on WBZ-TV’s What’s In Store program.
What’s In Store is WBZ-TV’s half-hour lifestyle show that highlights unique places, products, and services throughout New England.
Chancellor J. Keith Motley; Rajini Srikanth, professor of English, director of the University Honors Program, and associate provost for faculty affairs; Philip Quaglieri, dean of the College of Management; and students Jill Ferreira, Anthony Akl, and Serena Wang all shared their stories of what makes UMass Boston stand out among other colleges and universities.
