Get Your Grades on the New, Mobile-Friendly WISER Site

When students log into WISER this morning to check for grades and find classes for the summer and fall, they'll notice it has a much different look, with icons for things like "Grades," "Search for Classes," and "My Schedule." And, because it is mobile responsive, students can conduct all of their university business on the go—the screen will adjust depending on whether users are on a laptop, tablet, or smartphone.

Screen shows icons for My Schedule, Grades, Holds, To Do List, Enrollment, Finance and Financial Aid, Boston Degree Audit, My Academics, My Planner, Enrollment Dates, Personal Information, Advisor, Search for Classes, Grant Additional Account Access, UMass Boston Campus LinksThis upgrade is the result of several months of student and staff testing during which it was determined that a new intuitive design would make it much easier for students to navigate and complete essential tasks. It is no longer challenging to complete tasks in WISER on mobile devices. If students would prefer to see WISER in the former, or classic, view, they will be able to switch once they have logged in.

Faculty and staff will not be impacted by this upgrade and will continue to experience WISER in the same format to which they are accustomed.

If you have any questions about the new look, contact the IT Service Desk via email at or by phone at 617.287.5220.
